My name is Christopher Jason Hammond, I'm currently a 31 year old software developer here in St. Louis Missouri. I'm married to a beautiful woman, Natalie Hammond (www.nataliehammond.com) and while we don't have any kids yet we do have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses.

I'm an Air Force brat, my father was in the service for 30 years, so I was born and raised Military, I attribute this to my republican views. I was born in Kansas, then moved to the following places, in order: Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, Guam, California, Indiana, California, Missouri. I've been here in Missouri since I came to college, will I eventually leave? Possibly, I would love to go back to California sometime, or to Colorado.

For fun I enjoy many things, mainly: Computers, Cars, Racing, inline skating. inline hockey, racquetball, Music (playing and listening) and software development. I specialize in a software product called DotNetNuke (www.dotnetnuke.com) and speak throughout the country at user groups, conferences and businesses evangalizing and training for DNN.

Here's my professional bio that I generally submit for conferences and speaking engagements.

"Chris Hammond is the Product Manager for Internet Solutions with Engage Software (www.engagesoftware.com) in St. Louis, Missouri. Engage Software is the leading provider of DotNetNuke consulting, and proud to be the only Official DotNetNuke Training Provider. Having worked with DNN since its inception Chris has solidified his role within the community as a leading expert on the platform, presenting at conferences and user groups across the United States over the past 5 years. As a DotNetNuke Core Team member and Wiki Project team leader Chris has been able to provide community support and development to users all across the globe. He started and runs one of the most active DotNetNuke user groups, the St. Louis DNN User Group located at www.dnnug.com. In the little free time he has, Chris participates in various activities with the Sports Car Club of America, including autocross and club racing. He manages multiple community portals relating to those efforts, www.solo2.org and www.sccaforums.com."

For an overview of how this site came to run on DotNetNuke, after running on CommunityServer for a few years read this blog post.

This website runs on the latest version of DotNetNuke, 4.9.0, and the Engage: Publish module from www.engagemodules.com. For a few years the site ran on variations of the CommunityServer platform but due to the platform's licensing changes I decided to convert from CommunityServer to DotNetNuke.

The fact that I am a DotNetNuke Core Team Member also had a little to do with that as well.
