I sent a text  message to 88288 last night during the Super Bowl to see how the MVP voting worked. They respond to you with instructions on how to vote for MVP, and ALSO to tell you it costs $.99 to vote! I would have to think that cost them quite a few votes, I sure as hell wasn't going to pay $.99 to vote for MVP.

It was good to see the Pats win again, and Branch got MVP for his 11 catches.
