SBC DSL unable to send SMTP mail for other servers

Well, I got DSL running this morning, and have been unable to send mail from my home machine all day.

After a little googling I came across this link.

In summary, in order to be able to send mail via other SMTP servers you have to get SBC to unblock port 25 for your DSL account. You can make the request with this URL.
