Procedure entry point _Atomic_fetch_sub_4 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR110.dll

Recently my Visual Studio 2012 RC installation quit working on my laptop, the whole install is less than two weeks old, but being that VS is currently a release candidate I figured that it probably is just buggy. The problem is I can’t get visual studio to load anymore, which leaves me without the ability to do any further enhancements to my SlidePresentation module.

I remembered that yesterday I installed Windows Live Writer (along with a few other Live essential apps) and after doing some searching I came across this July 2012 Update for Visual Studio 2012 RC http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30178

Running this update for Visual Studio appears to fix the problem with loading Visual Studio 2012 RC after installing Windows Live Essentials, and if you are reading this blog post, you will also find that Windows Live Writer still works as this post was created with it.
